    The MW’s Table is a brand-new tasting series designed to offer a casual and intimate, yet informative setting to break bread (and wine!) with New Jersey’s only Master of Wine—our very own Chris Cree. Each session will feature a curated selection of unique wines showcasing regions, growers, and grape varieties from around the world that we are truly excited to share.

    For our inaugural session, we’ll dive into the world of mature Burgundies from the deep, cold cellars of Domaine Robert Ampeau. Drinking fine, old, and rare wines is one of life’s great luxuries—but not everyone has the budget, the cellar space, or (let’s be honest) the patience to age wines to perfection. Fortunately, Monsieur Ampeau has done the hard work for us, holding his wines for decades in some of Burgundy’s coldest cellars until he believes they’re ready to enjoy—without drastically raising prices. It’s a wild business model, but a huge win for us!

    Tickets are $65 (plus tax and gratuity) and include a three-ounce pour of each featured wine. You’re then welcome to open a tab and order anything you like from our à la carte menu or wine lists—we’ll be happy to offer pairing suggestions to complement the wines.

    Please join us at Metropolitan Seafood under our glass-walled tent as Mark Drabich aka "The Funky Fishmonger" prepares a 5-course Lebanese Forward Menu complete with wine pairings from Massaya Vineyards of Lebanon (The country, not the town). Mark will personally present each course and he will be joined by Master of Wine Chris Cree of Cree Wine Company. Also in attendance will be Sami Ghosen, the Owner of Massaya Winery. And yes, he will be flying in from Lebanon to attend this very special event. We are honored to be able to share our Lebanese Heritage with you all. To top it off, the special dinner will be held in Lebanon NJ. A coincidence or maybe just the universe realigning itself. See Menu Below
